It is said only devoted people know the present history of Rivne. Because, there were sanctuaries of ancient Slavs, the whole settlements of the present Volkhvs-Ukrs and a mystical city of magicians Surenge (on other sources, Art) on the territory of modern Rivne area for a long time. This city is named as a capital of All-Slav states Dulibiya Ros, existence of which is recognized by official history named the Dulibsky Union.

They say, the Rovno earth possesses special properties since then, there are mystical «Eternity Gates» somewhere here, giving people unknown power and unique force. Not many enthusiasts search caves for ancient artifacts in Rovno — certificates of existence of the state of magicians and secret of their knowledge.

Presence of a large quantity of caves under Rivne and in the whole area is the fact, V.Korolenko's book «Children of a vault» is about these caves. And a significant amount of places with unique geomagnetic properties is the fact too, attracting people to Rovno, which are inclined to mystical and esoteric practices.

The official history of the city begins from XIII century and practically all of it – is history of wars. The city went from hand to hand between Kiev, Volyn, Lithuanian and Polish princes, it was devastated by fires and a plague. The political contract between Rech Pospolita and the Ukrainian Cossacks was prepared in the Rivne Castle in 1625.

Modern city of Rovno is the center of Rovnensky area, — a pure, beautiful and cozy city. Its population, according to census of 2005 is 247 870 people.
